    Did you feel this...?

As time goes by I have more and more feeling that house now moves from progressive to electro and tech house.
    Does anyone have this feeling?
I was wondering why is that happening?
I even start missing now the old nice progressive house.
My own opinion is that many producers see new unexploited areas in electro or tech style.

I think that there have been many DJ's that have changed the style of House music that they're playing, but there's always a handful of DJ's for every sub-genre of House.

Could you give 3 examples of such producers in your opinion?

genres are like races. stop it.

good music is good music. who cares about, what, where, how, when, from, why, who, color, size, shape, and country. genre bashing or genre classification is one thing i do not understand in this industry. when it comes to being a dj, yes for ease of find, but as a listener .. don't we want good music?

i agree good music is good music, so let's change the question. Is there less good edm music around these days? Or music in general, i know most of us don't listen to mainstream music anymore, could you say that the standard in mainstream music lowered in comparison with the past? Or is it because we only remember the good stuff from the past and forget the crap.

i wont listen to anything unless it has been officially branded with a genre name. the more obscure, the better.
