" Darkness Imprisioning Me
All That I See
Absolute Horror
I Cannot Live
I Cannot Die
Trapped In Myself
Body My Holding Cell"-James Hetfield(Metallica)
In search of sunrise vol1 - The reaches of civilisation.
I get goose bumps just thinking about that track.
One of the best intros out there imo. The whole album is the goods.
(awaits Tiesto bashing)
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”
― Marcus Tullius Cicero
not my favorite track opening track but definitely the one I was most surprised to hear, back in 2001 - 2002, I heard DJ Alexis (I think) open up one of his sets with an instrumental track from an Indian movie.... just blew me away to hear it
Amazing, I thought I would see some obscure track when I opened this thread instead it's my own favorite opening! I heard this as an opener for a local dj. Made me reaslise the importance of set structure.

Guys and Gals, I have to hurry/leaving for short-term vacations.
I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me
not a set intro, but sasha's intro when he got on the decks at creamfeilds inlike 01 or 02, the mash up he did of dark and long and some french track with all the effects going off. it was the set where diggers opened with his remix of nalin and kane. i was off my face when that went off.
