Got a dealer demo with the 3.1L V6 for just under $42,000. Got $15,500 for trading in the Passat so when it was all said and done it ended up a little over $27,000

I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me
I got screwed on the trade in value for the Passat... probably could have sold it privately for closer to $20,000 but I just didn't feel like dealing with it AND I wouldn't have been able to afford the A6 had I not either first gotten rid of the Passat or traded it in.... All in all though I love the car.... I'm old enough now where I don't feel "out of place" driving it, if that makes any sense at all....

I am but I have no idea what I want to get. I need to be some thing sorted out first before I even think about a new car. I figure by the end of the yr maybe.
I love the thing.... It came down between the A6 and a Land Rover L3. My fiancee' wanted the L3 (apparently someday we'll have a family) and I wanted the A6. For shits and giggles we did get a chance to test drive a new VW Phaeton W12 but only because a friend of ours works at the dealership.... Seriously now, who's going to spend $90,000 for a VW???
haha, i saw a phaeton driving around a few months back and i bust out laughing. i honestly thought no one would ever buy that car. and to top it off they made the vw in the grill even larger than on their typical vw's. now i'm a fan of vw's but you would think that they would have tried to understate that on a car that is twice as much as their next most expensive car .
once upon a time, machines were mice, and men were lions. now that its the opposite, it's twice upon a time
This is what I really wanted to buy (in black), but it cost about $40,000. Sweet car though with a 298hp six speed manual transmission.
That is a great ride also! Before I was handed my current car I went and looked at these quite a bit! They corner the road like it's on rails! Very nice black with blacked out windows at night!
^^^ Jermaine O'Neil of the Indianapolis Pacers has one of those... It silver and looks bad ass outside of Midtown Grill in Broadripple.... Almost looks mean from the front!
Just went to the Detroit International Auto Show last night to check out some of the new rides. Over all impressed with the VW Jetta/Passat R Gt, packing 550 horses. Now to see if that makes production, which i highly doubht.
first off i hate tuners in general, and i hate vw tuners a lot, the majority of tuners remind me of people who think the limit of edm is tiestos lastest cd.. but thats just me
