Not me! I'm going to stick to my beater car. I just can't justify spending money on cars after my prelude was fucking totaled by some old asshole. Now I drive a car I paid 400 bucks for. If I wreck it I get to walk away and shrug my shoulders.

I've always been a fan of Honda/Acura products. If you've ever worked on them you'd be so impressed into the thought that goes into the design of the car. Just the little things. Especially in the maintence aspect. And they always seem to be ahead of their time in regards to technology when it relates to performance. If I can get over my issue of not wanting to drive anything nice for fear of it getting fucked up I'm getting one of these ( a used one though, 97 or newer):

I am a gearhead in a constant state of wanting a new car. But I am also a homeowner with a mortgage that comes first. My dream when I finally am in a better position is a Lotus Elise. It is a total weekend toy and not even a car I'd want to park anywhere for very long, but I am willing to make the sacrifice because the car moves my soul.

^^^ I used to be a gearhead ( I guess its still in me) but I got to the point where spending money on cars was just seen as a waste to me. Now I "toy" with my house doing things like home automation, still an expensive hobby but at least I'm likely to make money rather than lose it like with my car. I hope you get your dream car someday.

Then we're in the same boat. I'm actually about to take out a Home Equity line of credit to begin a million much needed projects on the place. But as you say, the money is an "investment." Thanks for the positive wish, it will happen soon enough, as long as I don't screw up and end up with a wife and kids

This was not the greatest week to buy a car but I will say it made the trip to Cleveland to my fiancee's at Christmas alot more enjoyable... This is while we were out looking for anything, anyone and/or anywhere in Aurora Ohio for a drink over the holidays..

Kamal, i have a '03 TL Type-S Aspec, and it has performed amazingly for me. i have 60,000k on it now, and not a single thing has gone wrong with it, despite me driving it pretty hard (tough to resist 270hp). the new versions of the TL are just as high quality, if not moreso. the best thing they could possibly do for the change in '07 would be to make them AWD and add 20 more hp (not hard for them with the current engine).

I think AWD might come on the '09 models.... they are rumored to have a slightly more agressive look... and yea... I AM gonna go with the TL
