    nails are NOT what you wanna be using when trying to do sound dampening for a studio. as nails transfer sound into the walls and therefore into other places outside of that studio. All soundproofing companies use glues ans other ways of keeping sound from transferring to outside.

        i'd go with the spray. or if you want something really off the wall, try some velcro. it'll stick to your wall and then you can pull it away from the wall when you are done.

            That could work... and Jeff's right, don't use nails.... I got lazy after my bass traps fell for the 10th time... Jeff, you'll be happy to know I just fixed that... no nails in the foam now .
