The player rolls the die. What ever number comes up on the die the roller has to drink that glass (line them up 1-6).
The player proceeds to roll again. The player continues to roll until he / she rolls a glass that has no beer / booze in it. When the player rolls an empty glass he / she is to fill it up to the desired level and then passes the die to the left.
If the player continues to roll the die and glasses that are filled that person must continue to drink until all glasses are empty or they roll and empty glass.
If the roller drinks all the glasses without rolling an empty glass it is up to the player to refill the glasses and start again from the beginning.

i always play asshole or texas hold em. or, very rarely, i have been known to participate in games of drunk jenga (with our own tasks written on the blocks.) those always end in trouble
Our favorite game is Thompson, which is a highly embellished version of a game otherwise known as Zoom, Boom, Schwartz. The following rules are not exhaustive, but are the official starter rules as memorialized on a laminated sheet I maintain for the benefit of all Thompson players:
OFFICIAL CANONICAL LIST OF THOMPSON RULES
General Notes:
? Thompson is a game of verbal tag. The rules set forth below are the only rules that determine where ?it? goes -- any other behavior is completely acceptable but irrelevant, except speaking out of turn which results in a drink
? All directions are from the standpoint of the last person to speak, regardless of why that may be, unless the rule says otherwise (i.e. ?X from the Palmeiro?)
? ?Silly hat? plays -- which require the person making the mistake to wear a ridculous hat until someone else makes the same mistake -- include opening the round with a ?Schwartz? or a ?Palmeiro.? In all other circumstances, it is entirely appropriate to ?tag? yourself
? Although there is no penalty for it apart from ridicule, responding ?Perfigliano? more than three times in a row is known as a ?Marcinkowicz.?
? A ?drink? denotes a full sip of beer, and is required for speaking out of turn or failing to respond
? Immediate response is not required, but you must speak within a reasonable amount of time, to be determined by the group. A short, intentional delay is acceptable provided you demonstrate that (1) you are aware that it is your turn to speak and (2) you have something in mind to say
? You cannot ?Boom? a ?Boom? or ?Zoom? a ?Zoom?
? The person to last mess up starts the round

Palmeiro -- Person to Start the Round
Palmer -- 2 Left
Palomino -- 2 Right
Uncle Toby? -- Person pointed at must answer in a long, lurch-like voice, "Yeeeeesssssssss?," play then passed 1 Left of the person responding
Advanced:
Mr. Miyagi -- Person pointed at responds "Wax on" or "wax off;" if "wax on," play passed 1 to Mr. Miyagi's right, if "wax off," play passed 1 to Mr. Miyagi's left
Art Vandalay -- Person pointed to answers ?import? or ?export,? if ?import, play passed 2 left, if ?export,? passed 2 right,
Angel -- Person looked at responds "blah blah blah" while making a halo over their head. If the halo is done with the right hand, play goes 3 to the right; if done with the left hand, play goes 3 to the left
Bunky Foby? -- Person 1 left of the person looked at answers "No," play then goes to the person looked at
Experts Only:
Art Valdalay, II -- in addition to import/export, a person may reply ?yadda? or ?yadda yadda;? if ?yadda,? play passed 1 left of person that sent the AV, if ?yadda yadda,? 1 right of that person. If some unfortunate sap should say ?yadda yadda yadda,? she must slam her beer
Martha Fauker: Say ?Martha;? the Palmeiro (person that started the round) says ?Fauker.? Play then passed 2 left of Palmeiro
Gaylord Fauker: say ?Gaylord;? the Palmeiro (person that started the round) says ?Fauker.? Play then passed 2 right of Palmeiro
