BTW, that Aaronbond on your comments thread had a good point: get yourself a camera while you're at it and add some pics to it! I can't imagine you not being able to take some fun pics when on the road

Here are my friend Sue's pics from LA:

I wish I took more pictures, but I just kinda suck at getting the job done...plus, getting Jason to update my blog is work enough (just kidding Jay, got nothing but luv)...

I'll work on it for the future...

        Thanks for reading,

That part about the tool making Jokenfold and Tiesticle and hippity hop requests is priceless... Once my set was interrupted to play some dumbass folk song which was quite popular with the intellectually and socially lesser developed ghetto part of the locals...I didn't quit, but I should have picked up my records and left.

Are you still totally on vinyl btw, or alternating with cd's as well?

I would say these days I'm 80% vinyl, 20% cd...I have nothing against cds but prefer vinyl...also been busy integrating my set-up to Serato (the Rane version of Final Scratch)...as well as buying a PVDJ Grabber w/ my tax return so I plan to "up my game" in the coming months...

Re: Who Let The BLOGS Out?

Teehee...sounds good! I've heard some positive feedback on Serato, actualy better than final scratch in general. I myself am now gonna learn Ableton to bridge the (probably) long gap between vinyl and CD's...sold my decks this week and am now going to save up for a pair of CDJ-800 MKII's and maybe an A&H Xone:32, or another Ecler...they rock! I just know that mixing with my hands is the way to go, i could never stay totally digital. Serato is a perfect solution i guess, though if i go digital i figured i might just as well switch to cd's anyway.

There's nothing that beats the feel of vinyl though IMO...manipulating it with your hands and having full control, not to mention that you can 'read' it visually and mix records you've never heard before as well
