the latest Woody Allen movie, saw this last night... and thought it was quite good.
the main character is Chris (played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers) who gets a job as a tennis instructor at a posh London tennis/sports club. he becomes friends with Tom, a guy taking lessons and becomes close to Tom's family also after going to the opera with them. later he meets Nola (Scarlett Johannson, my future wife) who is Tom's fiancee, and is strongly attracted to her. this is made complicated by the fact that he is seeing Tom's sister Chloe.
thats all i'm going to get into so as not to ruin the movie, but it is pretty good. the acting was good. don't expect a comedy, its definately a drama and there are a few twists, a lot of the events keep the viewer on their toes. an added bonus is that you get some great shots of London throughout the movie, as the entire film takes place there.
would recommend this movie, its a change (imo) for Woody Allen, but he did a good job with it, as did the actors.
