For Nintendo, my favorite is a tossup between Double Dragon (doing all those crazy cyclone kick & knee kics and killing the shadow warrior) and Bubble Bobble (!!!!!)

And thanks guys for the memories of Oregon Trail, first time played in 2nd Grade on the Apple IIe.

i was all about kings quest when i little. i think was "Kings Quest III: To Heir is Human" anyone else ever play that one? that damn wizard always freaked the shit outta me.

the very first final fantasy.. not quite as old as some of these games but i remember spending DAYS on that fucking game. kid icarus was another one i distinctly remember and i could never understand why no sequel was ever made.

Anyone ever play the Dragon Warrior games for NES? I was all about DW3 for the better part of my youth - never did kill one of those metal slimes though...

I played that game like 10 times also. Best one in the series imo. DW4 was good, but the 5 sub-plots just didn't do it for me. Good game, but DW3 takes the cake. I actually played DW3 a few years ago on my Playstation... I figured out how to burn Nintendo games to Playstation, and I kept busy all over again with DW3, FF, and Zelda.

oregon trail is a classic......my people always died of scurvy

lol...i remember always having a "theif" come during the night and stole like everything. i didnt know so many people knew of that and number munchers on those green monitor apples in elementary school. always would get in trouble if we were caught before finishing our work.



i also remember playing police quest and leisure suit larry. we liked leisure just because you could type curses for him to speak and watched him fucking with the little censored bar over him and the hooker

Prince of Persia and Prince of Persia II were the best for me!!!!!
