you know those crazes that completely swept your block when you were a kid? Those crazes that came along and drove your parents nuts because you were so obsessed...

I remember pogs taking over, i got reallly good at this game. I had an aluminum slammer that won almost everytime.



also, power rangers were HUGE back in the day, G.I. Joe, Ninja Turtles, Lego and later on pokemon cards, then magic the gathering.

jnco jeans were huge, they were like a status symbol. paying $50 for a pair of jeans back then as a kid was unheard of.

hell yeah dude my grandmother hated these so much she threw my entire collection (about 400) in the trash.
she did it on the downlow too when i was asleep.i'm still bitter about this.

Football sticker albums/stickers, I used to have a massive pile of 'swops' that I used to reguarly go through with friends, with them going 'got, got, got, got, got, NEED, got, got...

Regarding driving your parents mad with obsessions, I had my whole room, ceiling included, literally covered in rave flyers. My room looked like a dungeon or something it was so dark, even with the light on!
