Dean Coleman (Yoshitoshi | Bullitt):
Dean Coleman started his illustrious career in the mid ?90s. Armed with his creativity and a strong passion for music, he began to do mobile parties while in college at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He was quickly thrust into the local NC club scene and eventually progressed to regional parties. In 1997, Dean made the move to Atlanta and immediately made an impact with his first attempt at production - a bootleg of Pete Heller's anthem "Big Love." With a couple of solid years under his belt to fine tune his sound and style, Dean struck gold in 2002 with a bootleg of Narcotic Thrust?s ?Safe From Harm,? which was subsequently signed by Deep Dish to their Yoshitoshi imprint. The remixes found their way to ..1 on the Billboard chart and Dean was well on his way to being a favorite of the label. In 2004 alone, Dean Coleman has been on four Yoshitoshi releases and there are more to come. Within the last few years, Dean has already created a discography that many in the industry have taken a lifetime to produce. He has produced/remixed for Deep Dish, Erick Morillo, Harry Choo-Choo Romero, Roger Sanchez, Hernan Cattaneo, Josh Wink, Eddie Amador, Julie McKnight, and Felix Da Housecat. With countless original production, edits, and remixes to his credit, Dean always has something fresh in his record box.
One of Dean?s latest accomplishments was in the genre of commercial music score. He produced an original score for a new international TV commercial for PIONEER featuring their revolutionary DVJ-X1 Player. Along with his production credit for the commercial, Dean was cast as the starring actor, further increasing his international exposure. "I've had the pleasure of working with Pioneer since 1995, and they always strive to make the best product and use most innovative technology," states Dean on the collaboration.
This past summer of 2005 was his busiest ever as Dean?s annual residency with Roger Sanchez at Pacha in Ibiza, continues to grow into a popular international event. Dean also recently added a second Ibiza residency featuring Deep Dish and Yoshitoshi, which will surely become an annual event to remember. Some of the other International Summer Tour hot spots include: Tunisia; Budapest; Portugal; Washington DC; Montreal; and many more. Whether combining ever-futuristic technology, or just rocking the mixer, Dean?s DJ sets are not to be missed. Bringing 10 years of experience to the decks, as well as, a flare for on-the-fly remixes, Dean always lights up the room. "One of my favorite gigs was playing for Deep Dish's GU Release Party at Cielo in NYC, however, I always feel at home behind the tables whatever city I'm in. When I DJ I want people to feel like they are a part of what I'm doing and not that I'm there to play to them. I completely vibe off my crowd and the closer I am to them the better!" says Dean.
On May 31st, Yoshitoshi released their first ever hits compilation entitled ?House of Yoshi - The Collection? mixed by Dean Coleman. Alongside the launch of the album it was a massive press and music tour for Yoshitoshi and Deep Dish, which are being fully sponsored by Pioneer, as they simultaneously launched their new DJM1000 DJ mixer. As well as doing several DVJ sets in the US, Dean is currently touring worldwide to promote the new Yoshitoshi CD and the new Pioneer gear. This fall and winter, without a doubt, will be a major move forward for the Deep Dish prot?g? as both Sharam and Ali of Deep Dish have handpicked Dean to tour with them on some of their biggest US and International Tour dates.
Also this year, look out for new original tracks and remixes including: "Remember" by Dean Coleman featuring Melanie Denard, on SR2 label; ?Bak 2 Deep? by Dean Coleman, on Heavy Rotation; ?Hypnotic? by Dean Coleman feat. IMEAN on SR2. ?Livin? By Atlanta? by Dean Coleman, on Jamayka Records; and a fresh remix for the new Roger Sanchez album entitled "Lost." Along with these hot tracks, Dean completed a side project producing an original film score for ?Glass Beads,? a short film showing at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival written by Angeles Woo, and Executive Produced by John Woo.
Dean will continue his dedicated relationship with NARAS and the AUDIO ENGINEERING SOCIETY as well as his long-standing relationship with keyboard legend ROLAND. Kai (Chris & Kai | Yoshitoshi | Azuli ):
A rising star from New York?s house scene, DJ/Producer Kai has gained a strong reputation for the electro-tribal-funk sound of his DJ sets and floor filling dance productions. With a fun filled blend of funk, electro, or tribal, Kai always keeps the crowd moving with unexpected twists and turns throughout the night. As testament to his skills, Grammy winning duo Deep Dish have said, "Chris and Kai's new cut 'Suffocation' is simply amazing. Its one of the best tribal tracks out there" Already a name growing in demand, Kai has played at some of the world?s best venues including Crobar (NYC) and the now legendary Womb in Tokyo. In John Digweed?s words ?Chris & Kai have been making some great tracks over the years. [Kai?s] really starting to find his feet and he?s an excellent DJ as well.?
Kai has proven Digweed right on the last two Yoshitoshi tours of Asia covering over 8 different cities including Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore. From his many years of experience playing many of New York?s best clubs including Crobar, Sullivan Room, Discoteque, Le Souk and his 2 year residency at Plant Bar, Kai is now bringing his sound to clubbers around the world. Working with his studio parter as Chris & Kai, the two found quick success with an original debut release of ?Suffocation/Catch Me? on Yoshitoshi Recordings. Following the Yoshitoshi release with several critically acclaimed remixes on Hooj Choons, and Yo!, Chris & Kai established themselves as cutting edge producers. Chris & Kai's productions have been making waves on BBC Radio One with Pete Tong playing their forthcoming release on Alternative Route, "Gone to Heaven," several times on his Essential Selection. The mighty Sasha & Digweed also feature the same track as the closing song to their Essential Mix live from Renaissance, UK. ?Catch Me? was also included on the Ultra Dance 05 CD compilation that reached #1 on the Billboard Dance Charts in the US.
Now dedicating more time to his solo productions, Kai has proven himself as a producer to watch out for. His remix of UDG ?New Generation,? which was featured on his Kiss FM guestmix, has received full support from Sasha, Digweed, Deep Dish, Sander Kleinenberg, and Luke Fair. The track was also featured on Superchumbo?s (Tom Stephan) KISS FM show. In addition Kai's original production, Find Myself is also featured on the MTV Sound System/Campari Red Passion CD. The CD is being given away on the Red Passion tour covering destination in Athens, Barcelona, and Ibiza. Also keep an eye out for his remix of the progressive house classic, ?Medway Resurrection? due out on Release Records later this year. Andrew Vogt (Shelter | RetoxNYC | Brooklyn Tuning):
Andrew Vogt's love of electronic music started in the same place most people's did, the rave scene. Living in New Jersey in the late 90's, Andrew began attending parties on a regular basis and quickly moved on to DJing at them. Under the name Dreas, his sets of house, progressive, and breaks got him recognized as one of the most talented DJs in the NJ scene. But he soon relized that raves could only take you so far.He began attending the Chelsea super club Twilo on a regular basis and thats when his total idea of music and DJing was flipped upside down.
Listening to such DJs as Sasha, John Digweed, Jimmy Van M, and Paul Van Dyk, Andrew knew his "rave" days were over and quickly fell in love with the New York club scene, its people, and its music, until the day he was forced to give it up for a career away from New York and its scene. Three years later in September of 2004, Andrew's love of electronic dance music proves to be too strong. He quit his job, sold his car, and moved to New York to once again pursue his Djing and Production work.
Since his return he has played with such DJs as Stephane K, Astro & Glyde, and Steve Porter. His sets of Tech-House, Electro, and Prog-House also got him chosen as the Bi-weekly resident DJ at the Smokin Saturdays Roof party at Club Shelter. He has also played at such clubs as Avalon, Movida, Temple, Sullivan Room, and many of New York?s top bars and lounges.He is currently working on his production and occasionally throwing some of NY's top underground events. He has found his home once again and has proven this time he is not going anywhere

Dany Veltri (groovanauts | Sullivan Room):
Dany Veltri will always consider himself a fan of the music above anything else. His earliest experiences in EDM came in the form of The Smiths, Erasure, New Order and Alphaville. After a brief and unsuccessful stint as a hippy - "I had the hippy fro" going, but not much else" - Dany found himself back inside the clubs soaking in as much music as he possibly could. A few years later, inspired by such artists as Paul van Dyk, The Chemical Brothers, Sasha and Steve Lawler, he decided to give DJ'ing a shot. His style is a thumping blend of electro, trance and progressive house music that ranges from the funky and uplifting to the evil and wicked.
Dany has spent 2005 playing with the likes of Ashtrax, Steve Gerrard, Ben Lost, Pole Folder, Second Sun, Noel Sanger, Madoka and Paolo Mojo at venues such as Remote NYC, Club Seho, Shelter, Table 50 and continues his monthly residency at Sullivan Room. 2006 promises to be another stellar year for Dany.

Joe Papeo (groovanauts):
New York City based DJ Joe Papeo found his roots in the electronic music scene of the 1980s with groups like Depeche Mode, New Order and Joy Division. Acquiring his first set of turntables in High School, hosting a weekly show on his college radio station and spending maybe too much time in the NYC club scene since the 90s, all had an impact on the DJ he is today.
This past year, Joe has proudly played with international DJs including Noel Sanger, Pole Folder, Ben Lost, and Madoka at NYC clubs like Table 50 and Remote Lounge, and now with Paolo Mojo at Sullivan Room. With a style based on progressive house, Joe will try and incorporate almost anything that makes you move into his set.
