    Pioneer EFX-500 Question

I have a Pioneer DJM 300 and I was looking into possibly getting an EFX-500. I'm not too familiar with how they function though. Specifically I was wondering if you hook them into their own channel or if you plug them into your Master Out in your mixer? Also does it all just add effects to CDJs or turntables as well?

i think it works on your tables as well, i would also think you put it in your master input as well. If worse comes to worse you could always give james zabs a call on the teley and he could help you out.

i think the Send/Return plugs are neccessary to run the EFX 500.

              Re: Pioneer EFX-500 Question

I've had the efx-500 for over 4 years and I still can't get enough of it.
My mixer has send and return capability and the option to switch from channel to channel.. So I'm able to effect seperate channels..for a while I just had it on master out though so if effected everything coming out of my mixer but hopefully your mixer has seperate channel controls for send and return not sure if you mixer has that or not.
I also use the efx for both my cdj's and turntables... you can effect anything you plug into your mixer.

If you have any more detailed questions, pm me and I'll see if I can help you out
