just caught DH in a 250 person club tonight...needless to say it was incredible.

he came on around 10:30-11:00 and played till nearly 3am. funky, diry, techy, housey, sexy proper house musak!! he was so psyched to play a small club after playing 4 big clubs in 4 nights previously to this gig. i got to chat with him a bit right before he got on and discussed a show he played nearly 4 years ago on his renaissance tour! class act all around. pics and vids to come

That would be awesome. To bad everytime DH comes around here it seems to be a bigger club that he plays at.

seeing danny in a little venue back in 2001 was one of the best shows i've ever been too. half way through his set he brought in a drum circle that was playing along with him. that guy is still one of my favorites even when he's having a bad night.

saw him many times in college at axis in boston, smaller size venue (not REAL small). had my best nights there seeing him. loved when he would play for a full 2hrs. normally boston is 10-2AM and warm up DJ is 10-12, but he would often be on right at 10.... awesome

Seen him play a club in Liverpool which held 150 people and he was
awesome the after party held 80 people which was even better

i think that is the same show that i was talking about. was it at alderan's at lemon (or something like that) after party at mccarthy's. if it was that night my friends and i smoked a spliff with danny at the afterparty.

might be another night but the night i saw him that i posted above was in liverpool

I figured you would have been there aswell Jeff. Was an absolutely amazing show. And he was in such wicked form too. Apparently, he started playing earlier than sched. as he had a shite time @ Avalon the night before, and wanted to make up for it.

Regardless of wheter that's true or not... He did. Next time I see him though, i'm going to have to try and yell something other than 'Yeah Danny!'. Oh, the marvels of alcohol.
