man i eat chinese about 2-3 times a month. maybe less?!
anyway, i always joke about the texture of the "chicken" dishes that i order.
saying: "man this is some good dog"
but after reading this thread, i may not ever order anything besides rice from one of those dime-a-dozen chinese joints again.

thats what im saying man, balut is the worst shit ever. my chef friend said it tasted like savory chickn broth, horrible. if i ever get to the point were i need to inflict my worst revenge to some asshole, im gonna buy a dozen of balut and launch them at their house.

btw there are way worse pictures of balut then that

the local newspaper here does food inspection reviews... they post results in the paper, with a score of 20 or higher means that they are in grave danger of being shut down.

a local sushi place got a 78 yesterday
