no better way to learn a language than to move there and immerse yourself in it.

just came from HK.... amazing city.. head out to kwai lang fong, open street bars with plenty of action plus nice crazyy lounges...

on Buridgee 360 diary he recommended a special club, the problem was I didnt found it on the web, but is supposed to be an ecletic club with top quality music.

Moving out in the summer, nice to form a MS Community out in HK....

you dont need to speak chinese to live there...most everyone has at least some english, and all the street signs and subway announcements are in english as well, as it was owned by the brits until the late '90s. mainland china is a different story...

the info that I got unitl now is that a decent single apt in the island rans from 1800 to 3000 usd, and they are hard to find. Taxes are pretty low and Med is Free..... Transporation through the MTR is pretty efficient and Food as every big city runs from the fried rice to the 1000 steaks...

I felt that NIght outs were at the Miami level, definetly not as a tokyo or paris... Depends on your livestlye, but price per meter is the biggest expense out in HK

well, that rules out hong kong as a place to relocate too in the near future.

you can live on the kownloon side for way cheaper than that.

definately cheaper than tokyo ... japan is the costliest country to live in in asia ... cost of living is generally cheap in hong kong but its just their housing prices are crazy due to the limited space that they have left
