opened on the 26th of September 1998 by Roman Řezn?ček, as a pleasant combination of music club, restaurant and cafe. From the beginning it has been one of the most popular places for Prague's night life as well as for various cultural and social events. In April 2000, Mecca started cooperating with the ?head? of Prague's clubing scene, Jaroslav Krampol, and his production company Zep Tepi. The aim of this cooperation was to build Mecca as the one of the best music clubs in the world with first- class programs and perfect lunch and dinner service... and our idea came true. During the years, Mecca has welcomed many Czech and world-renowned DJs, singers and other stars .

This has been an interesting topic. I went to club Mecca once. It is a lot different than other czech clubs like the Roxy. It is a "high society" club. The night I went, I met a female czech movie star and a famous footballer. I went to see Josh Wink, and I must say the set and vibe at the club was totally amazing. David Morales is OK, nothing to get overly hyped about, but I dont see the big problem hanging out at Mecca. Maybe it is because I was a tourist when I went, and Im not Czech, so I dont see it like Danil does.
