I've listened two the full two CD's ... actually I'll need to listen a few more times to it to discover the 'excellent' things in it. It's the decent stuff you can expect from Moshic, no less no more: a lot of high vocals, deep basslines, very moody. But I haven't been surprised through listening (instead of albums like zero gold last year... which is the master album of subtility imo).
Anyhow, an album like this is still a gift in the current crappy techy prog scene and I'm happy that a producer like Moshic stays faithful to what he's known for
Listened to a promo copy last night. Great stuff. I will defiently be picking this up. This a brilant comp well worth the money I am going to spend to get this.
My copy arrived yesterday. This was the first time I bought something in an online shop and they sent it with a confirmation request so I had to go to the post office in person, show my passport and sign for it to get it. That's ridiculous. But the album is good, prefer the ambient from the progressive part so far though. The CD booklet is also very well designed I must say..eye candy.
Finally got this, I?ll try to write my opinion about it with a bit more detail tomorrow, but here?s two quick notes I?d like to make about it :
- The beginning of the progressive CD (the first 2 tracks) is devastating, and is to me one of the most powerful openings to an album that I?ve ever heard.
- Track Nr. 6, "Primavera"...my jaw dropped...it?s a Portuguese word meaning "Spring", which I found intriguing, but it?s also used is the Spanish language, so nothing special there, but when I listened to the track...the vocal is probably the 1st time that a sample of our national music style "Fado" is ever used in the context of dance music!!! And it?s done by an Israeli, of all people...It?s incredibly well-used and powerful, I must admit I was bit moved listening to this...the singer, Amalia Rodrigues, is pne of our national symbols.

Count me in that surprise, just purchased my copy a couple of days ago and got it yesterday and when i got to that track i was like wtf? it sounds like our fado! it cant be, i must be listening to the wrong CD.
It was very fresh to listen to this track, i just cant stop listening to it, anyway Kinetic it isnt Am?lia Rodrigues, its Mariza indeed, her voice is very similar.
Since im a big fan of Moshic's productions and appreciate all the scene going in mid-eastern, specially turkey and israeli this is def a must buy for everyone in the same conditions because its just perfect.
