For all of you who aren't lazy and make it to the gym every once in a while.....what sets do you typically listen to? I feel like I listen to the same few mixes every time I work out and am looking for some new stuff. I download new sets as much as the next person but it's hard to find a solid mix that keeps a good steady beat and doesn't start out too slow. Any recommendations?? If not, I'll just go back to sitting on my ass and working on my beer gut.
For if you do it right you'll find the moment never ends. -phish
I definitely can't listen to the same sets over and over when I hit the gym, for me variety is the key or I get really bored. I was rocking out to the Fattish set from Frisky Love Turkey today, fucking first rate set!!

I usually listen to my own mixes or friends.... most of us play right around 127-130bpm which is a good pace for me to get into a zone.

"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."
One of my favorites is still the Delta Heavy Essential Mix from 2002. About 9 mins into it is when I get into my groove with that.
I used to listen to this all the time when i worked out. now i usually listen to digweed live at the colors midnight mix from 2004, or some funky luke fair or desyn masiello..
was listening to some Burridge last time I went to the gym...his recent jjj set. not bad. before that I worked out listening to Alex Smoke...I like to mix it up.
