No, the whole point of establishment for the United States, not Canada or Mexico, was to escape religious persecution. You're free to practice what you perceive is your belief, however, you're also obligated to responsibilities for your actions. If you're going to bring some sort of argument to the table, bring something worth while, not comments a guy from 'arkansas' would say.

    Is Canada really that uneducated?

        From Ann Coulter:
Three cartoons made political points. One showed Muhammad turning away suicide bombers from the gates of heaven, saying 'Stop, stop—we ran out of virgins!' —which I believe was a commentary on Muslims' predilection for violence. Another was a cartoon of Muhammad with horns, which I believe was a commentary on Muslims' predilection for violence. The third showed Muhammad with a turban in the shape of a bomb, which I believe was an expression of post-industrial ennui in a secular—oops, no, wait: It was more of a commentary on Muslims' predilection for violence. In order to express their displeasure with the idea that Muslims are violent, thousands of Muslims around the world engaged in rioting, arson, mob savagery, flag-burning, murder and mayhem, among other peaceful acts of nonviolence. Muslims are the only people who make feminists seem laid-back.

i think they should be reprinted. i know i sound like an asshole, but someone needs to show that these freedoms are crucial to our lifestyles and to show we really beleive in them. by retracting, firing, and apologizing we are leaning one step closer to living in fear of the stereotypical islamic terrorist. (NOT the normal, peaceful, nice ones for those who think im stereotyping). simply as a united people, we need to put forth a front that shows that shiara and koran based law wont be forced upon other people out of fear.

            LOL

a little FYI; the top universities in the world are primarily located in the United States and a few in England. The fact of the matter is that imposition of your beliefs to desecrate someone who they hold very sacred is ethically wrong. Muslims are by far more fundamental then Christians and its subsidiary sects. If inciting a war is what you want, then you do it.

You know very well what it means. Freedom comes with responsibility. If you have no responsibility then you have anarchy. If you cause more problems then needed, then we hold you responsible, or rather, the publisher for allowing it. I can only agree that the Danes had a right to publish their picture, but the rest of Europe screwed it up.

The last comment wasn't taken seriously. I was just mocking you because your comments sound just like a redneck at the bottom of the totem pole.

well the problem here is that it's a lack of respect for their religion. You can't compare Christianity and Muslim faiths because they both follow different laws of ethics. For something as volotile as religion, it's very imperitive to refrain at this time and moment from inciting more hate toward us. You don't put fuel on fire to douse it.

FYI their schools are better than ours...... we have the edge in the upper tier because of our parochial and privately funded schools, as well as colleges, but their public school systems are better. mainly because they have a much less population of latin and negro minorities, which in FACT, have a terribly low grade average and involvment..... the US is killed because of the city school systems that have been overrun by union BS and lack of parental involvement....

what makes the US more attractive per say are schools like Chaminade in NY, Canterbury academy in conn, the private hockey schools in the great lakes regions... then add in catholic schools where kids arent allowed to fail or face expulsion, there is the curve.

You're right, our public schools aren't as good as like you said because of the lower class population that occupies it. However, you're 'privately funded' schools are rivaled by state funded schools. Maybe NY doesn't have them but there are multitudes of state universities (UCSD among top medical schools) that do just as well and gain as much recognition as any privately funded school. However, you're not giving the public education system enough credit. Schools that are middle class and above are doing fairly well. Though standardized testing proves otherwise, the results in college differ.
