I know this is primarily a dance music site....but anyways I was definatly influenced by Sly and the Family Stone when i was growing up....he made excellent music that will never die.

Did anybody see him on the grammys last night? I guess it was his first apperance in 17 years...Man did he look f*cked up or what.......No wonder he has stayed in seclusion for so long.

he was soo fucking hagared at the grammys, he was looking down at the keys of the piano and could not figure out what to do, and he was definatly not singing

Whoa.... I dvr'd the show last night so i'll have to watch this for sure now. I'm fortunate to live in Cincinnati (OK, fortunate's really not a term I'd use for living here) and see Bootsy Collins all the time and Sly makes Bootsy look clean and sober....
