Werner Herzog - Check this nutter out!!!

If any of you are familiar with the genius crazy man Werner Herzog, here is something that is hard to believe even by his standards.

His works include filming next to volcanos while exploding, and in one documentary three of the film crew were hijacked and one had a spear through his throat.

anyway last week, while filming in LA....he gets shot in the stomach during an interview , he carries on while bleeding and tells the presenter it is not a significant bullet.

by the way his new film Grizzly Man is very good, and its about a man who's obsessed with bears and ends up being eaten by the bears together with his g/f.

ya i saw it on discovery channel a couple weeks ago. that guy was a complete nut job, good intentions or not.

its like a horrible car crash...you just cant help but watch. there are a few times where i swear he was so close to getting mauled when he'd piss off a bear or startle one. time caught up with the him in the end.

That Threadwell guy has lost a few connections for sure...I also have this morbid curiosity for that tape, although seeing Herzog's reaction to the sounds should say enough.

yeah grizzly man was on last week on discovery..i watched it...that tim guy is nuts...

Although I encountered a black bear last year when i was vacationing in canada...so i may be a little mental myslef.....see the pics i took below.

Also Grizzly Man is a crazy doco. Amazing that that guy lived so long. There are really some magical moments, one I can recall was with a fox. Just amazing. He really had some strange gift.

the interview with Werner is super. Actually funny how it opens ... "air rifle". hahah.

yeah that was an inetersting doc to say the least..i thought it was very interesting how tim films his potential killer bear...and he can totaly tell the bear was abused hungry and old...and he even says if there is a bear that would want to eat me this is the one...and sure enoguh it ends up being that bear.
