Well this may be the biggest f-up of the year on my part. Reserved a room at the Shore Club for WMC this year like I do every year. I used a Visa way back in September of last year. About a month later I transfered the balance from the Visa I used for the reservation to a newer card and cancelled the said reservation Visa . Shortly after this it turns out I was sent an email from the Shore Club which apparently got filtered by my spam software and I never saw it. Anyway, the jist of the email was that since the card I used to reserve the room was cancelled I'd needed to contact them to hold the reservation blah blah.... They never called but just sent the email which I never saw. Anyway, I now have no room at WMC. They cancelled the reservation yet kept the charge for the room. Nice huh? I had called this morning to see if I could possibly change my room from a single bed to a double and they promptly told me that I had no reservation. I explained to them I did and then I got this whole story. The "manager" I talked to was clueless and gave me the run around on the refund of my money saying I needed to talk to my credit card company. I'm about to f**king explode.... Now I can't find a decent room in South Beach because it's way too late in the game... F**K, F**K, F**K!!!!

damn man. that defo sucks. last year at our hotel I was stuck behind some people that had made reservations long before their date and when they showed up they were informed that they had no room and all rooms were booked. at least you caught this one before it was way too late

^^ i may have to pull that because everywhere (i would stay) is sold out for at least two of the days (friday and saturday) I need. No fun having a hotel tuesday thru thursday and then no hotel friday and saturday.... and you're right pickle, it would have seriously sucked had I not called and then got there and been like "wtf?" anyone want a roomie?"only dead fish swim with the stream..." but it was so crowded we got sperated from them
so like idiots we drove back to orlando at 1 am after partying all day!
