I dont realy think of Jimmy as a warm up Dj. He just dosent bang it out. I remember him finishing the night at creamfields one year. It was nice just to sit on the grass and listen to his set as the tent had emptyed out by then. Fucking brilliant. Ive been posting some of Jimmys sets in the promos section if anyone hasnt got them already. The set from Advance Club Guadalajara Mexico, (December 13, 2002) is mind blowing. If anyone has these sets i will be intrested

best warmup style dj on the planet.
some of the witchery i witnessed him create before s&d were taking over, was amazing.
the man can build the tension early in the night like no other.

as far as his peak time mixes, i'm not too sure i've ever heard one that made my pants move.

now mix cd's... bedrock cd 1 was ingenious! cd 2 was also enjoyable. i would really have loved to see this guy do a Nubreed mix or flat out GU mix back when GU was in its hayday. but i suspect he'll release his own compilation within the next 6 years.

I spoke to Jimmy at Renaissance @ The Cross in January he said he was hopping for a Renaissance release. But I'm not holding my breath. SHAME
