Launch party for Salamat. . . and bugger me and call me mary, what a party.
Considering he lives here, this was Moshic return to Tel Aviv club land after nearly a two year absence.
For anyone who has clubbed here, door selectors rule, and the Haoman17 was no different; so a couple of days ago I sent Moshic an email asking for guest list tickets as a way of avoiding the selectors - we've been on lists before and always paid, but I see it as a way of avoiding the "no, no, no, yes" bollocks that goes on at the door.
So we got to the club at about 12.30, after being elsewhere for my flatmates b'day, go up to desk, mumble those words, Anacnu b'resima shel Moshic, (we're on Moshics list), gave our names, and found out that we had three free tickets, so a big, huge massive thanks to Moshic for that!!!!!
Shahar Zangelovitch (? is that spelt right ruby?) warmed up, nice and dark. . . just how we like it.
Moshic was hovering around at about 1.15, went up to him, introduced myself, thanked him and had a little chat. This man is one of the nicest guys I have met on the club scene. He seemed genuinely suprised when I told him that I bought Salamat, and loved it.
Anyhow, at about 1.45 Moshic hit the decks and played for a mind blowing two and a quarter hours.
I had never seen Moshic live before, and I've read that listening to his sets never really does him justice, and i agree. This man knows how to throw a party. My ears are still ringing.
Our highlight of the evening had to be live vocal to "Inside Doors" from Salamat - a haunting track on disc, live it really ripped up the place.
If you get a chance to see Moshic do - you wont be disapointed.
Here are some pics!!

So thats my lot. . . . two week to recover until Digweed in Eilat. . . .
I'm off to bed now.
