james gandolfini was on "Inside the Actor's Studio" about 2 months ago.
he stated that filming of Season 6 wouldn't begin until 2005.
it will be the final season.

latest i heard on Sopranos is that filming for the sixth season starts in april/may 2005. sometime later in the year till we get to see it i guess. rumor on the news that there will be a 7th season though.

i seriously doubt we'll get a 7th season from them. james himself said season 6 would be the final one.
that doesnt mean i dont want more.

This is why I hate HBO. All their good series (Oz, Six Feet Under, etc.) end within five or six seasons

seinfeld was still a good show before it ended.
so the soprano's might not be on for 12 years, but at least they go out in style. instead of beating a dead horse with a stick.Comment
