Where does everybody eat when they are at WMC? We usually get there and go to one nice restaraunt first night (usually Avalon By the Sea - it's in some hotel, good sea food). Then after that, nobody really cares too much about what they're eating as we're usually a mess. We always hit Jerri's deli though that is on collins street during the late mornings.
i know there's a little sandwich shop just a block or two from Level. its in an alley and hard to find unless you walk by it. i remember eating there at wmc 2001 around 3am. we were bouncing back and forth from the Twilo Party @ Warsaw, to the Hallucination Party @ Level. it was in between the two venues. sandwiches made to order and they were Huge and Filling.
Do we really HAVE to eat while in the party, next party, another good party, then the after party, damn it its time for the beach party, then another party, a club, an even more interesting party, the boat party, the bedrock party, the bedrock's afterparty....?
I mean guys, do we ever have the chance/time to eat during that week? Do we really notice any hunger sensation at all?
there is a subway on Collins.. easy, good, cheap.. the restaurants on ocean are really good too.. not all THAT pricey either...
had breakfast at the Cardozo one year.. brilliant food! and we were drinking mimosas, after the 2nd one the waiter was putting champagne and absolut citron in them.
The Clevelander, also on Ocean Drive has a good bar food type menu, and usually always has some locoal dj's spinning outside.. good vibe there.
also this little cafe on ocean, you sit outside, the News Cafe .. GREAT food.. but there is also little pizza places on the strip, cuban food, etc.. burger king, miami subs.. it is ALL available, it you need it..
There is a sandwich shop right off the corner 9th and collins (entrance is at West side of 9th) which has yummy bocadillo-type sandwiches - awesome munchies call I am going to hit the Parmalat Gelateria if I ever make it to the Lincoln rd... which is doubtful, considering the state of inebriation in years past...
