    Stanton T.80's

    hey all,

ive been wanting to try my hand at dj'ing for about 5 years now & i think i might finally be able to afford it. ive got tons of favorite tracks accumulated since '99 & would like to get into digital/vinyl mixing.

anyone play with Stanton's new T.80's? I want a direct drive deck thats gonna get me going, but i dont wanna throw down the cash for sum Technics - since this is my 1st attempt. I want to eventually get into the Final Scratch software too. Any advice?

So, are the T.80's a good start? Should I spend less/more for my 1st set, or buy one good deck and one "cheap" one until i get into scratching? ...Can anyone recommend a good mixer?

    thanks for any help

ive never touched or seen those, but i can assure you if the label "TECHNICS" isnt on your turntables, you will certainly regret it down the road.
