i have to agree with jeffrey...imo the first cd of gu miami is good not great and the second just puts me to sleep

where as 24/7 disc 1 is one of my favorite cds of any genre period. it has so much feeling and emotion I'll probaby still be listening to it when im 80

i think a lot of his older fans would probably be very happy if he went back and did 6 more nocturnal frequencies cd's. But that's just not him anymore.

Was a bit disappointed in the kiss fm mix. Good start to it but was yawning by the end.

Had the exact same thought about scrunching a typical 4-6 hour-type-guy into 58 minutes. He's still a star imo.

GU Miami was the comp of 2005 IMO. The KissFM mix was a snoozer.

Howells live is great, but his Kiss mix was boring. Nice tracks, but its like he didn't have enough time with a 1 hour mix to really put together a great set.

I put this on yesterday and I have to agree that this is well below Mr Howells' standards. Which I just don't understand, it's not as if it was a random 1 hour lull of an otherwise scorching live set, this was hand picked by the man himself for a venue which is going to get alot of attention.

This is my issue with so-called "big name DJs." They feel they don't have anything to prove any more so they get experimental. Give me a hungry up-and-comer who's trying to make a name for himself and will thow it down as hard as possible.

the kiss mix by howells is better than i expected. normally there is floating around a lot of unlistenable trash but this got me locked on the beats.. very well put together and some quite interesting moments!
