Yeah, it took about 30 minutes this morning after a reply was made to a thread I was subscribed to before I got notification of the reply. It happens to me from time to time, but this morning, the delay was really noticable. For awhile there, I thought it wasnt working.

it's odd because I test the mail function (from a new registration standpoint) and the emails are instant.....

look at the time you received the email notification and the corresponding time the reply was made in the thread that you recieved notification about

yes if you are on an AOL address, AOL mail servers really screw around with forum based auto generated emails

EDIT - looks like you're on hotmail though....

Yeah, Im on hotmail. I havent gotten a response yet for Kamal's last two responses and ska's last response.

mail spooler is busy churning out mail..... so your mails could be a little delayed.... I just realized that I've also altered the setting for the mailer to send emails on threads every XX minutes so to not kill the server.

Kamal, I just got a response from your last reply. It took 4 minutes. However, I didnt get a notification for the previous 3 replys. Its no big deal...thanks for taking a look.
