    Ol' Man NICK WARREN

wow did anybody hear the Nick Warren Just music Fm mix?? This is got to be one of the best sets from him that I have heard that has come out in quite a long long time...

I was beginning to wonder if he still had it in him...This was a wonderful set especially the last 35 minutes It really had that signature "nick warren" feel to it.

you deserve a slap on the temple and a foot in the ass for even thinking that.

digweed can show up at a prog club for his fans and rip it. so can a breaks, trance, house DJ in thier repsective clubs. but warren can show up at any of those clubs and rip the roof off. man can play to any crowd, any type of music and do a top job. i was lucky enough to catch one of his downtempo nights while skiing in colorado. amazing. nick is THE most well rounded DJ on the planet. while ppl play better in certain areas and do the journey thing, nick plays it all and just gets it movin.

i was wondering how long it would take before someone pointed out the technical aspects of his live sets rather than the music.....

Why, is that not a valid criteria? For me, the biggest factor to a DJ set is the quality of the mixing and it's ability to continue and build the energy of one track into the next. A bad mix kills that energy no matter how good the selection is.

because he's never been known as being a technically gifted mixer... knowing this going in gives you a slightly different perspective on what comes out of the speakers.
