Hey all, just got back from a LONG trip out west and thought I'd tell you what a great welcome back it was. For starts its humid as hell down here and I'm missin the time off.

But... remember my Gecko? Yeah the one that took a blow to the head over July 4th? Well I'm sad to say she passed while I was away. What a sad sad thing to have to say.

this is going to sound uber insensitive...

so...sorry in advance ...

it's a lizard. i don't get it. do they offer companionship? or just stick out their tounges and stuff and eat flies? sorry again, but i've just never understood the attachment between lizards in a glass case and humans. trying to be delicate here, as you were obviously attached to the little bugger...just looking for insight on the whole lizard thing.

i think if you get used to having something around, its hard to lose regardless of what it is.

its more about the sentimental value and story behind how i got her that matters. If that lizard could talk she would tell one hell of a story.

She was raised from a baby, was about an inch and a half long when she was given to me. Thanks for payin respect to the motherbitch!

Sorry to hear about your loss. It's always sad to lose those close to you.

As for jenks comment, shockingly enough my wife and I have had a goldfish from the time we started going out and strange as it may sound the fish has actually got personality. She knows who we are based on the reactions she has when we're near her versus other people (as well as her not letting anyone other than us actually touch her) and she's even learned to play when we're teasing her around her fishbowl. And damn has the fish survived through numerous horrible occasions (us being away and totally forgetting about her and some really nasty travelling).

So you'd be surprised (believe me I never thought I'd ever say this about anything other than a dog or cat)...

that sucks about your reptile. i've had a snake for 12 years, and when her time comes, it'll be saddening. dont forget to tip your glass tonight in your lizards memory.

it has taken a beating or two, but it's still good for another 30 years...even longer with Cialis.

Glad to hear you're back safe...but really sorry about Ezra. I know how much she meant to you and the story behind her really is something to cherish.
