OK, I'm officially of the opinion that George W. Bush -- not the administration, just the guy -- is in completely over his head. I almost feel bad for him.
What other conclusion could one possibly reach from watching him sit through a briefing that included the following:

This also casts some doubt on Bush's assertions that, "No one could have foreseen that the levees would break." That wasn't just foreseeable, it was specifically discussed, with Bush himself.
This reminds me of those 7 minutes after the second plane hit on 9/11 where Bush just sat there with that dumb ass look on his face that said, "Oh my God, what have I gotten myself into." The primary difference is that following 9/11 he stepped up to the plate, demonstrated some fucking leadership and did this right thing. This time, he went on vacation.
Is it Jan. 2009 yet? Republican, democrat, I don't care -- I'll take anyone new. Please.
