    Soundforge and clipping

Hey guys, I couldn't find a technical category so I guess I'll just post in here.

Do you know of any way to get rid of clipping (that buzzy sound when your recording "red lines") through Soundforge? Any tips would be appreciated.

turn the gain on your mixer down.

i also have my line-in levels on my soundcard turned down as well.

If you have already recorded it, it's too late. Soundforge can't help you here. You should do what 3_d1200 said first and if it does not do the trick adjust the levels in your Volume control on the PC as well.
