I enjoy Andy Moor´s stuff...in fact Baroque has always been one of my favourite labels and the stuff they put out is clearly trance-influenced.

Well come on out to the show

For those wondering how Andy is live he is awesome...I saw him here in Toronto a few months ago (Oct) and he had me dancing the whole time. Got to hang out and have a few drinks with him before he spun....he is a really nice guy. Can't wait to hang out with him again.

                            Hear Hear!!

I look at it like this, and have always thought of trance as any form of hypnotic layering of patterns (and hopefully sometimes tripped out and/or beautiful) I dont like arpeg's very much at all nor do I think that they have anything to do with the word Trance but more so with the commercial trash that is popular these days. Diggers, Sasha, Howells, Burrdige, Three, Kleinenberg, Fortier and many more I could mention have all played TONS of tracks that I would consider to be far more trancey than housey when I have heard them live recently (and not cheese mind you) and real electro too, but I doubt many on this board would own up to the fact that it can be damn good and they liked it...

Maybe we should just start compiling a bunch of Progressive that is shite and fluff just to help make all genre's a dirty word and then we can just go out and listen to the artists and DJs who make us fuckin wanna dance... or we can just start calling it all techno again? Anything to avoid another goddamned fucking argument at an afterhours over classifying a track into a genre that becomes some bastardized hybrid ivy league pretension elitist dick measuring contest. How bout it?

OMG I'm sorry but WTF is up with this ghetto-look shit lately...? Don't get me started on the tracksuit top that Sightless had on at cielo the other night...

And for the record if a dancfloor becomes a mosh-pit around me I truly will begin to cut faces around me.

there wasnt any actual "moshpit" action going on, but the party did get to the "off the hook" stage many many times, it was an awesome night and i had a blast, if hard and dark drum n bass isnt your thing, then you would have hated it.
