Yes, unfortunately, if you go to NOTICE ( hahaha, i typed in megaupload . com and it came up headed differently) you will see that the Department of Homeland security is keeping us safe from piracy sponsored terrorism by seizing the domain of megaupload. However, there are many procedural shortcomings with the FBI's case, including the jurisdiction and pesky little details like due process and stuff that will definitely shape the legal landscape in the future. I encourage you and everyone else to read up on the story. Hopefully, Kim DotCom's lawyers know enough about the law to file a counterclaim in private international law, because then things could get really interesting.
