    Is this normal???

    This is from an email that I somehow got on their mailing list. It seems the said dj below gives out his tracklist before he spins that evening. It was my thinking that most dj's play to the crowd and don't have the exact tracks let alone the exact order that they will be played in prior to the set. Obviously some preparation is needed. Am I wrong or is this guy taking what seems to be the fun out of it???

    pre-recorded in my opinion. If not, then really heavily rehearsed, which is equally as bad.

      I my latest set the first hour was pre-concieved, sounded like shit.. I got pissed threw the cds on the floor and randomly picked one up at a time and did a set... Thus that is why only the second hour of my latest set exists now...

        lame imo... whats he supposed to do if the crowd is blatantly not feeling what he's playing (which judging by that t/l, they wont be )

            or richard humpty was way worse. seens him a few years back about 3 times in 24 month span. almost track for track the same.

              yah...why have djs at all? why not put on a cd if all the jock is gonna do is play some tracklist?
