we didn't even get one raindrop at my house. my friends 15 miles away were getting huge hail, and I didn't get shit. I was expecting a show

driving around KC earlier I saw all sorts of damage along the roads... saw on the news baseball-sized hail that was destroying cars/windshields. the downtown airport had one whole side of a hangar torn off the building, and one of the colleges has cancelled classes tomorrow due to damage to the school biuldings and dorms. it seems like everyone 10 minutes around me had tornado... I didn't even have rain until it was over everywhere else

saw that shit on the highlights...one area would have nothing, and then a short distance away was getting pelted...rough area of weather that passed through...talk about early remindings

With over 1300 severe reports (hail, wind and tornado) in the last 6 days, powerful thunderstorms continue to impact areas early Monday across Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana and southern Michigan. The threat for violent, long-track tornadoes continues to exist across many of these states. In addition to large, long-lived tornadoes, huge hail and wind gusts in excess of 75 mph are possible. The threat for severe weather will spread eastward across the Ohio Valley during the day on Monday.

I just found out that a coworker's house was leveled by a tornado yesterday. found his truck a couple hundred feet away, way out of sight from his property

No less than 80 twisters in Missouri alone yesterday, and the storm is still going strong and heading east. Glad to see that the loss of life was relatively small given the power of the storm. Unreal.
