the best minimal mix cd ive come across in all my travels (and have been listening to lots and lots of the stuff for 2 or 3 years) is "taka taka" mixed by ricardo villalobos, on cocoon. came out in 2003 i think. check that out.

locodice's mixmag cd is great. i've been listening to steve bug's compositions but have yet to hear a set by him.

i have a few bug sets... definately worth checking out. his bugnology mix cd was decent, albeit a little disappointing to me. the second one comes out this year i believe.

Yes i have this and enjoyed it. i also really liked swayzak groovetechnology. this cd was class and Michael mayer immer cd is also good. not sure when immer 2 comes out but should be good. Thanks for all the recommendations

I am very new to this minimal sound and i would love to now more .. dunno where to start though .. i heard steve bug and i really liked that minimal sound .. any similar artists ??
