    Martini

I opened a mysterious box today that my wife had packed into a closet along with the other wedding gifts that we received last fall and are waiting/reason to use. The box contained a 6 piece Martini set.

Me, Martini?? I'm a conisuer of Scotch and English Ales, but intrigued non-the less to dabble in this new branch of alchemy.

I'm sipping a sour apple martini at the moment:

1 Part Rose's Sour Apple Mix
    1 Part Stolichnaya (100 Proof)
2 Garnish, sliver of green apple

Share your favorite Martini recipe, I'd like to experiment.

          however...

Kettle One, Dirty, w/ gorganzola cheese stuffed olives = delicious.

damn, i think i'm going to have to have one of those tonight.

(sometimes its fun to make ghetto mimosas with asti-spumante and tang mix)
(just add the podwer to the asti, no need for water)

                ^^What he said

Thing is, nowadays, people call pretty much anything in a martini glass a martini. With that in mind, try pouring a can of Bud into a martini glass, garnish with a Li'l Smokie.

lol @ bud garnished with a lil smoke. haha.

I love Kettle One, and find it to be the smoothest and best tasting vodka in that price range. I prefer K1 over the Goose, Belv, and don't even think about pouring me absolut or stoli. Stoli makes decent flavored vodkas for mixing, but straight up, i gotta have the K1.

I have seen this served as a martinin but I drink it by the pint glass.

Peach-teani: Sweet tea, absolut peach, dash of peach schnaps...
                      also...
Drunken Palmer: Sweet tea and lemon flavored vodka

Both very popular at my pool in the summer.
