nope. never. not possible. those things really do not go down in price. and if they do, I would be very very careful.

    good luck. happy price hunting.

a friend bought his cdjs for around 760 bucks, i can say they look like new... havent tested yet. look for ebay sales... perhaps you can find a good pair, obviously not new.

              topdjgear..

For straight djing purposes, the CDJ-800 will perform identical to the CDJ-1000 minus several deluxe capabilities. It maintains all the important features of the 1000 and drops the price tag significantly. For most DJs, the 800 will provide all of the features that you need including vinyl simulation mode and cue points.
The differences between the CDJ-800 and the CDJ-1000 include:

              • No hot cue function on the 800 (the 1000 will store cue information in its permanent memory)

              • Reverse function is controlled by a button. on the CDJ-1000, it is controlled by a switch.

              • 2 selectable pitch control settings: standard (+/-10%) and wide (-/+1000%). CDJ-1000 features 4 ranges: -/+6, 10, 16, 24%

              • Touch/release and break/start controls are controlled by 1 knob. on the the CDJ-1000, there are 2 separate controls.

              • No CD lock function (CDJ-1000 has option to override eject button)

              • No WAV data memory

              • CDJ-1000 features metal buttons.
cheapest if you can find them otherwise, are cdj-1000 mk1's...

I had the 200's initially in mind (played on one before and like it), but for the extra bit after seeing the 800 pricetags, might as well...and I still can pocket some cash after it's all done for bills. (obviously don't make what I initially paid for the 1200's but it's respectable depreciation loss)
