I have been listening to a lot of Herann from MS and I've been impressed, he is playing some quality progressive house music at the moment.
I'm looking forward to this release, but chuckc surely that's a bold statement 'could be the best CD ever?'Comment

Best comp ever ? Better than the Northern Exposure's, or S & D's GU's - that's a big ask. As long as its as good as South America and the two Master's I'll be happy. The test of a comp is how much you play it in 5-10 years time. I've been hammering Norhern Exposure 2 lately : thats a 1997 release that still sounds fresh in 2006 !sigpicSimonR
This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.Comment

To me there is a difference between "fresh" and "still an enjoyable listen."
Most electronic based music sounds dated after a five years plus. This has been true since the early 70'dies.
Pink Floyd's "Meddle" still sounds "fresh" to me. The Northern Exposure series does not.
But I still find the Northern Exposure series "an enjoyable listen." Only now and then.Comment
