Re: New Digweed Renaissance CD - Transitions

I couldn't tell you the specifics but I do recall reading some articles on it. The overall price of a double disc is much cheaper than say buying two single discs. The production cost is cheaper as well since, they don't have to make everything x 2. Not stating this for everyone, but it's been well documented that many people refrain from making a double or even a triple disc release do to those stats. It sucks. I've read some interviews where bands wanted to release a double or triple disc release but the label wouldn't let them because it wasn't deemed as "profitable". Bound by the contract of the label, the band couldn't really proceed with their ideas. Bastards.

I preordered the t'shirt / cd combo from the bedrock site. Hope to get it soon, but I'm sure the shipping will take a while. The album mini mix podcast sounded pretty good, can't wait to hear the full version.

That was truly a shame because I thoroughly enjoyed that release. Top notch and quite groovy. Kept my ass moving fo' sho'.

Just listened to the full release. Great stuff. I think this mix is better then his fabric release.

The fabric release had some great (yet old) tracks but was not an overall good "mix".

Does anyone know of a site that isn't broken where I can download this? I've tried beatport and djdownload and haven't had any luck. I am not impressed with either site, especially beatport.

Some people prefer to pay for a compressed version of a release.
