My friend and I have been planning on coming to New York for the Mar 31st Sasha and Digweed at Crobar and figured we could do it on the cheap. We were planning on driving down and bringing 2 other people with us and splitting the cost of gas etc. Well, 2 weeks ago my friends car was stolen. Thankfully, the cops caught the bastards but they trashed the car. Again, thankfully she has theft insurance. No problem, we'll just rent one, it'll cost a bit more but that's fine 'cause we've arranged to stay at a friends place in NY so we don't have to pay for accomodation. Just found out this morning that she's going away for that weekend and won't be in NY. Now I'm wondering if we should even try anymore...it's like some unknown force is telling me to stay home that weekend. What should I do? Does anyone know of a really cheap place to stay?
