Re: people who still hunt and peck when they type...
^ just learn how to type and this will be much easier. Practice on your computer orsimply just post as much as ska on here. Just Kidding Ska. Keep up the good work.
Re: people who still hunt and peck when they type...
Chuck Norris's speed was 81 WPM with 0 mistakes while typing with only his left foot. His right foot was busy delivering a round house kick to the "pecker" sitting next to him.
It's never too late to become the person you always thought you would be.
Re: people who still hunt and peck when they type...
Your speed was 53 WPM with 3 mistakes (adjusted speed 50 WPM).
I taught myself to touch type when I started programming. The trouble is that I can't use a pen for long now without getting bad cramps in my hand!
I annoys me when I watch people using their mouse to do everything when they could save so much time using keyboard shortcuts.
An ounce of image is worth a pound of performance.
Re: people who still hunt and peck when they type...
Your speed was 48 WPM with 4 mistakes (adjusted speed 44 WPM)
not bad for an english text. I write fast but only use 2 fingers. I hardly look down while I type..running a Forum and whoring around there every day is the best practise in writing you can imagine.
Re: people who still hunt and peck when they type...
Your speed was 50 WPM with 1 mistake (adjusted speed 49 WPM). I have to say, though, I think I could have done better if the punctuation were in the right place. I'd be typing along, and suddenly a comma would appear out of nowhere where it had no business being and I'd have to go back and insert it. I type much faster when I'm typing my own thoughts than when I'm replicating someone else's text, especially when that test is counterintuitive.
