Sasha these days, what do you think?

I'm a newbie here, and so far I am loving the community. So I thought I'll start s\a thread about what you guys think of Sasha these days? He's been mixing with Ableton instead of the usual CDs and vinyls. Personally, I think he was way better back in the late 90s and early 2000s. He is still good, but sometimes I wish he'll go back to the good old days. I saw him at a Ruby Skye, SF last year, and that night he reminded me of his old self. But he is not always as consistent these days. I just want to hear how other people feel...

ok...i have seen sasha once this year and twice last year...
awesome at avalon last May, one of the best nights of my life, it seemed like he was trying out the ableton, at it worked very well, but it wasnt what i had expected from him.kind of like one of those good surprises.

then again at club ice in vegas last october..kinda disappointing knowing what he was capable of, seemed like he was trying out new things with the ableton, didnt seem to work, but still a decent night

then a couple weeks ago again at avalon, freakin blew me away, music was crazy, seems like hes crafted the art quickly! crowd was going crazy too...11 on a 10 scale!!!!

so he is still my favorite, and its nice to see that someone is willing to try new things and keep it freash than recycle old stuff till it gets played out.

i definitely plan on seeing him again in april at avalon.

Don't get me wrong. I still like Sasha a lot. But he is just not that consistent these days. And from the postings, I am not alone in feeling this way.
