you are catching tough Geoff, by admitting your own faults...

As for me: it's all a matter of having BAD experiences with women in the past, and because of that i am having serious problems in getting seriously involved with one, to be honest. There's one right now, but it's not the girl i'm going to see this week...pretty stupid he? Fuck it...i just need my time i guess, i'll come around.

Oh that song sounds familiar. The reason why I vanished all of a sudden from MS last year was because the fact that I had fooled myself into believing I was over the break up with my ex. Result: it blew up in my face BIG TIME. That bad even that I at a certain point my doctor told me I had 10 out 11 symptoms of a clinical depression (wasn't suicidal). That's when I decided to get my act together and to get some therapy...

Anyway, this might sound corny, but the main lesson I've learned is that shit happens for a reason. And no matter how deep you're in it and how much it hurts, if you can learn something from it, it has added value. My girlfriend often asks herself how I can still trust people let alone start a relationship with the all women shit I've been through the past 10yrs. The answer is simple: it's a road I had to take in order to learn how to be the guy that my woman deserves...

You know, it sucks to get bruised 'n' all, but when time heals the wounds and you look back, you're happy that you've lived the experience. At least, that's how I feel about it. The most valuable lessons in life are learnt the hard way. Crisis makes you stop and question youself, pain makes you remember not to make the same mistakes again.

And to end with a somewhat positive note: the deeper grief carves into your soul, the more joy it will be able to contain afterwards throughout the scars...

Do you want to pick up the pieces with this girl again and start over? Or you just want her to feel better?

              Yeh, nicely put man.

I'm easy with women, as long as there's nor relationship shit involved...and as this girl i met this weekend is acting totally in love i'm almost ready to panic, lol. I just need to have some fun, do my thing and not worry too much until I run into a woman that gives me the space i need within a relationship...of late, I've leant that anyone woman that wishes to commit me to her, will have to approach me with caution. And it took me until very recently to learn that...It just looks like I'm still in the process of learning to trust people again in that way...

                Re: Tricky situation.

Word of advice: tell her about the process you're in. When I started to go through that, I ran for the hills every single time I even suspected a girl felt more than friendship for me... Being frank about it saves you a lot of drama and explaining afterwards.

Tell ya what, I'll take you with me to Macedonia in the summer, plenty o' extremely hot (Albanian) chicks there, plus either way you wanna roll the dices, you win:
                - when girls notice that you're a foreigner (especially from the EU and US), they throw themselves at your feet so hard that you'll start thinking it's a national sport (option sex holiday covered)
                - even if you come across a girl who isn't too eager on giving you freedom, you'll be 2.000km away from her... Freedom à gogo (serious relationship covered)
                - the prices are rediculously low there (1 euro for a pack o' smokes eg.) and the people know how to party (minimal input/maximal output party holiday covered)

By the way, what ur saying about a girl having to give you freedom... Well, don't want to get you too enthousiastic, but those girls are extremely rare. My three best friends (who are also my regular party crew) are women. Since we're very close and we know that there will never be anything more than friendship, we tend to act very close as well (hugs, going to the sauna together, ...) even to that extent that some people think we're having some sort of kinky relationship... And most girls I've met/been with take that as a serious threat. Actually, Erzina (my gf) is the first girl who's 100% cool with it. Why? Just because she had the same problem in the past given the fact that her best friends are guys who she's very close with.

All I'm saying is that it takes one to know one...

                  Re: Tricky situation.

Hahah...damn, i need to check my finances then and when i'm in Africa , sounds like a great opportunity!

As for the rest...i don't mind a girl showing some affection, but this one is fucking diving into it full force: sending text messages every goddamn 15 mins, about the most ridiculous shit, like "i'm at the bar in the casino right now"....meaningless stuff like that. Or asking me for my plans in may...WTF?? I just kissed you one night hun, don't overreact...

Hell yes i'm gonna call her and tell her how i feel about this, i'd rather make a clean cut now than a big mess later on...that's one thing I know for sure.
