yeah it works again, i hooked it up again and all of a sudden it showed that big battery thing on the scream. it was still frozen but with some fucking around i got it to work (thank god)
Had a similar problem with my christmas gift IPod. Took it to the Apple store (twice) and they replaced it with no charge/problems. It was a bad hard drive. All they do is run the serial number. They did not ask for a receipt.
i have an hp ipod that i had to ship back because the hard drive crapped out, now i have a new one thats supposed to crap out on me any second, because thats what hp ipods do, its a vicious cycle.
arrggh! my ipod took a shit yesterday, and had to restore it. but what sucks is that for some reason my itunes wasnt reading the music from my hard drive so i have to reinput all of my music before i can put it back into my ipod, this sucks because i have 30gigs of music to redo.
