Yea, I was thinking afterwards that it couldn't have been his club set! Ok, makes sense now.

That is a track by a British band called the Editors. Good band they are too. I actually don't mind the remix in this set, all works for me.

wow. maybe i am a bit biased because i was there live as it was being performed...but even after listing to it again this week...i thought this was one of the best sasha sets i have heard in a long long time.

i personally loved every minute of it. and seeing it live was truly amazing. sasha showed me that night why he really still is the best dj in the world even though sometimes he doesnt show it all the time.

              Chuck,

Its very nice to hear something like this from you... Refreshing to say the least.

As for anyone who thinks this set is cheese, I ask of you this... Have you ever gone out at midnight and danced through (if not past) noon and gone through battlefields of insanity and doom for hours on end (good battlefields of dark banging stomping tunes) and gotten down to the last hour and felt that family feeling on the dancefloor with those who came through the long haul with you? Have you ever heard up uplifting or "feel-good" music before?

This set is (to quote kinetic) gorgeous!!!! I can imagine it must have been one of those moments where I am conciously aware of how good being alive can be....

              Sheesh!

Mike remember that thread you started about "I Need To Feel Loved"? For me this whole set was all about that feeling.

And the rest of your post is dead on...this set reminds me of the 1st time I saw a sunrise on a dancefloor. You just have to thank...whatever...for those moments.

And finally...1 year ago I saw Sasha live for the 1st time, and he gave us one of the darkest, most disturbing and somber sets I have ever heard (and I haven?t heard a set like that from him again, before or after). To hear him pull off a set like this just shows to me why he?s still Nr.1.

Re: Sasha @ Space, Miami 28-03-06

The answer to your question is yes. I have parties until noon many times.. I am the guy that gets there at 12 and gos until noon the next day. I have parties with people al night. I have partied at stereo in montreal where it goes until the dj stops. But that neither here nor there. The set is still weak IMO and cheeze. That doesn't change the fact that I like sasha. I think he is awesome. But in this particular instance I think he shit the bed a bit. As for the people who were there you have a biased opinion because when your on drugs tiesto can sound like the best dj.

Yeah, it did remind me of 'Need to Feel Loved' a lot..... the Jose Gonzalez track on here (starting around 23:30..... "don't you know that I'll be round here to guide you, through your weakest moments....") just about fucking KILLS me....

dont get me started with that Never be Alone track..... oye!!!

What??? are you the biggest fucking asshole ever for saying somethign like that?

You discredit the people who were on the dancefloor to hear the set LIVE from having an informed or valid opion as to the magic or vibe of a set because they were on drugs? I wonder how you danced from 12-12 or more like you say and can't hold yourself to the same criteria, but that is another topic altogether...

I hope you take a moment to re-read your last post and see the asinine "logic" behind it but But if this will help, I have been to plenty of nights where I was most certainly on drugs, even for sasha I might add, where I was bored to tears or simply annoyed to say the least... So do you care to revise your statement?
