    Seaman&Cattaneo @4th&B 3-31-06 review

im gonna say that the earlier review for last nights Sasha and Digweed at crobar is going to be very similar to this one.

Hernan starts the night off with a couple of great tracks, getting everybody hyped up. There was definitely a good vibe there last night. Then what happened was kind of unexpected, but this is the first time i have seen him live. He toned it down and like the earlier review seemed more valleys than peaks. Not to inspiring, but gave him the benefit of the doubt. i never would have thought that i would be glad that his set would finish. but then again i was really there for dave seaman. Hernan set lasted about 2 hours then Seamn got on at about 1:30, opened up strong like cattaneo but then started like hernans direction of uninspiring music. i had decided at this point that i would just relax with my other friends and just listen to the music, but i was in for a surprise. After a couple of tracks he busted out the dirty stuff and had the tiring club bouncin again. i was thinking it was about damn time! i wanted to stay to at least closing which was at 4 but i brought a bunch of rookies with me and for the most of them was the first time they had ever went to a club that played house like this. i reluctantly left but everybody had a great time. including myself....

Was there also and thought Hernan's set was somewhat lackluster. Nothing like his set here last October. Had a couple of moments but mostly forgettable. Dave's set started to gain some momentum but I had to work in the morning so I split around 2:30.

Best thing about the night was the vibe and the crowd.

I have nothing to do with that review nor that website. I just thought folks may enjoy the picks.

Actually I have seen this guy at shows taking pictures and I am always amazed at how terrible the quality of the shots are. But he always ends up on stage at events talking photos.

My review is this . . . fun but forgettable show . . . crowd was more entertaining than the artists.
