    Digweed's Screw Up

So I was posting this week's Kiss tracklist courtesy of [ms] member herre and it actually looked quite tasty with tracks from DJ T, Martinez, Loco Dice, etc. Listening through though Digweed says that the track after Martinez' mix of 'The Sky Was Pink' is Loco Dice's 'Carthago' when in fact it's the b-side from the 'Carthago' called 'Sorted'. I maybe listen to 1 or 2 Kiss mixes a year, has he ever done this before?

He's done this a lot actually in the past. I find it hard to believe too because he's simply doing voiceovers...

There are 2 things that guy can't do...like some absurd, cosmic joke...no matter how hard he tries...digweed can neither...trainwreck NOR mis-state a track name.

Funny you mention trainwreck because Digweed did mismatch beats for a brief moment Friday at Crobar. He even had a big smile on his face after he got out of it quickly.

It's nice to see the guy's actually human when it comes to DJing and it probably won't happen again for a long time.

I catch mis-states of track names more often than not...

This is very true. The entire club went "OHHHHHH!!!" when the trainwreck came in. Only took Diggers 10 seconds to drop out the incoming track, beatmatch again and mix again but it was funny as hell. It makes an average Joe like me feel better about myself knowing that even the pros have a few off mixes.

                      Re: Digweed's Screw Up

he probably said the record name that it is on, and not the track name... the record is still called "cathargo" although it was the b-side.

dont want a bunch of muppets running around looking for the b-side thinking its the name of the record, although im sure most would figure it out
